Katy McMonagle
Head Coach & Program Director
Katy grew up dancing and competing in many dance styles at local studios around the Fishers area. She attended Fishers High School and danced as a member of the Varsity dance team from 2009-2013, competing at the State and National levels. Katy continued dancing as a member of the Golduster Dance Team for Purdue University from 2013-2017 and served as a co-captain in 2017.
After finishing graduate school and starting her career, she began coaching high school dance. This is Katy's 4th year coaching the Fishers Varsity Dance Team!
Riley Clarey
Assistant Coach
Riley grew up dancing and competing in many dance styles in her hometown in the Chicago suburbs. She competed with her high school’s varsity dance team (Lincoln-Way East) and continued dancing and choreographing in the Notre Dame Dance Company throughout college and grad school.
She began coaching in Indiana in 2018 and has helped coach her previous team to a top 5 finish each year at IHSDTA state competitions. This is her 6th season coaching, and her first at FHS!
Riley is also a choreographer and dance teacher. She has choreographed for high school dance teams in Illinois and Indiana. She teaches recreational and company classes, masterclasses, and competition choreography for dance studios, including Legacy Dance Studio in Mishawaka (IN), Principle Dance in Forest Park (IL), and Nostalgia Dance Center in Noblesville (IN). Her choreography has won awards at the regional, state, and national levels.
